Sales Administrator

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, organized, hard-working, IT literate Sales Administrator with the ability to work under pressure, problem solve, work to deadlines and maintain positive relationships with both customers and other members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of Administrative Support to the Whole Sale Department
• Assisting group credit control with ad-hoc reports
• Processing credit notes
• Assisting Accounts team with ad-hoc reports
• Sales administration, including processing orders
• Receive and process customer orders received by telephone, email
• Assisting stock control team
• To be a point of contact for customers with queries on products, orders, and deliveries
• Check data accuracy on pricing and orders ahead of invoicing
• Liaise with our warehouse to ensure timely deliveries and those goods will be supplied to the customer's specifications
• General office duties

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience

The ideal candidate will possess excellent telephone manner strong IT skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent English, both spoken and written
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Have good time management skills
• They will also be comfortable with responsibility and with managing the delivery of a range of tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact internally and externally

Desirable

Knowledge of the fruit and vegetable industry

Hours of work

Hours of Work are 2-week roster Monday –Friday 04:00 am to 13:00 pm, every other Saturday, 04:30- 10:00 am. Flexibility outside these hours may be necessary as agree with the Director.

Night Shift Assembler

The role:

To assemble orders of fresh produce in coordination with customer requirements and load vehicles ready for departure.

Key Duties/Activities:

• Assemble customers’ orders following written or oral instruction
• Load vehicles and assist drivers prior to departure
• Up to date knowledge of all products
• Ability to document and record appropriate information when required – incoming goods, shortages, quality.
• Consistent awareness of the quality of produce.
• Ability to work to schedule and deadline.
• Keeping store and outside areas clean and tidy in accordance with company.
• Assist with the daily stock take in the stores.
• Pack produce correctly to requirements and load vehicle in the correct manner.

Additional Skills/ Duties:
• Use of weighing scales
• Ability to work with team or independently to achieve a result
• Ability to prioritize work and work on own initiative
• Knowledge and awareness of Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Use of both palette and forklift truck
• Good knowledge of produce
• Adherence to food hygiene regulations

Essential
• Previous experience working in a team environment
• Proven ability to prioritize own work and work on initiative
• Physically able as the position involves – lifting, climbing, stooping, walking, handling materials
• Good knowledge and understanding of English Language
• Numeric skills
• History of honesty in other posts
• Previous Warehouse experience

Desirable

• Knowledge of health and Safety, including COSHH
• Food Hygiene awareness or knowledge
• Previous use of forklift truck and/or palette truck

Hours of Work
1st week Monday to Thursday 16:30 to 01:00 am. Friday 17:00pm to 01:30. Off every Saturday then 16:30-01: 00 am on Sundays
2nd week off Mondays. Tuesday – Thursday 16:20-01:00am and 17:00-01:30 On Fridays then off Saturdays
